2012 Honda Acura NSX Sport Hybrid Concept

 

2012 Honda and Acura release new NSX Sport Hybrid Concept at Detroit Auto Show. The NSX Concept displays extensive use of lightweight materials and has a mid-mounted V-6 engine. This concept also featured a Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) hybrid system. This system has two electric motor driven units with a bilateral torque adjustable control system which can instantly generate negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering.

The NSX will also get a next-generation VTEC V-6 engine with direct-injection which will be paired with a dual clutch transmission with a built-in electric motor for optimal acceleration and fuel efficiency. Let’s see 2012 Honda/Acura NSX Concept photos.
