2012 Honda and Acura release new
NSX Sport Hybrid Concept at
Detroit Auto Show. The
NSX Concept displays extensive use of lightweight materials and has a mid-mounted
V-6 engine. This concept also featured a
Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (
Super Handling All Wheel Drive) hybrid system. This system has two electric motor driven units with a bilateral torque adjustable control system which can instantly generate negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering.
The
NSX will also get a next-generation
VTEC V-6 engine with direct-injection which will be paired with a dual clutch transmission with a built-in electric motor for optimal acceleration and fuel efficiency. Let’s see
